The vision of Young Brothers Taekwondo Copperfield is to build a community by helping people reach their fitness goals through the sport & art of Taekwondo, while at the same time installing life skills and character of a true Taekwondo practitioner – upholding the tenets of Taekwondo: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit.
To offer students the best in martial arts training it is Young Brothers Taekwondo Copperfield’s mission to promote the practice of Taekwondo through quality instruction by qualified instructors. We aim to improve students’ lives both physically and mentally by stressing the importance of the tenets of Taekwondo: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit in addition to physical fitness. We strive to build the self-esteem and self-confidence of our students through personal achievement. As students advance in rank from white to black belt, they will gain knowledge and experience that will last a lifetime.
At Young Brothers Taekwondo, we seek to instill self-discipline and strength of character in each of our students. Each class is taught with a purpose: to follow the tenets of Taekwondo with the same professionalism and tradition that Masters Mark Giambi and David McCloskey employed when they opened our Young Brothers school back in 1982.
The teaching style is disciplined but highly encouraging. We have high expectations for our students, and with positive reinforcement the students often reach those high expectations. Young Brothers classes are presented in a healthy, nurturing environment for each student to appreciate and excel in this martial art.
